SANTA CLARITA - A 20-year-old Valencia woman has been sentenced to 120 days in jail after pleading no contest to one count of leaving the scene of an accident, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said.

Lindsay Feeley appeared in San Fernando Superior Court on Wednesday and entered a plea of no contest to the felony.

Feeley was ordered to serve 120 days in jail and spend 36 months on formal probation, said Shiara Dávila-Morales.

She was arrested March 15 by Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s deputies and charged with felony hit and run for a vehicle collision that put a Nehwall bicyclist in the hospital.

The crash occurred about 10:30 p.m. March 15 on Wiley Canyon Road at Wabuska Street in Newhall.

Louis Santana, 44, of Newhall suffered head injuries in the crash, Rick Patterson of the Santa Clarita law firm Owen, Patterson & Owen told The Signal in June.

“His body flew over the car, and he landed a considerable distance away, perhaps 60 to 75 feet,” Patterson said, adding Santana suffered injuries to his head, wrists and knees.
