Who do we believe?

I follow the Signal Opinion Column, on the days the Democrats have their say, I wonder where I have been? Their writer makes their leaders sound like he is invincible. Also they make it sound like the Republicans are at fault for everything. I read this, and I say why am I a Republican. Then comes another day and I get to read the Republican Opinion, then I begin to realize why I am a Republican. Number One, I care about the future of our wonderful country. Number Two, I do not want my children and grandchildren to end up in a socialist country.

I would like to believe our country is doing great, but the truth is, it is not. Both parties are very weak when it comes to enforcing our laws.

Our economy does not produce enough income to pay our bills and yet both parties want to feed and educate the whole world.

I still have to stay with the Republicans, at least they do not want to remove God from everything. To quote President Reagan’s statement he made in 1983, “Freedom propsers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged.” I have lived for 95 years and I have never seen a government like this one. I get the feeling they want us all to become atheists and march to their drummer. I will tell you right now, It is not going to happen!

We may have some hard time ahead, you all know inflation is creeping up on us. All you have to do is look at your food bill. The government can not keep printing money and not expect that to happen. I keep hearing that if we do this or do that we will have to shut down the government. The only thing I can see that would cause us to have to shut down the government is Obamacare, The country cannot afford it in its present form. If you want the country to go broke, it’s your choice.

I hope and pray that some day people will start to think about what is best for our country.
