Parents of students in the William S. Hart Union High School District can now check the state-level progress of their children's schools online.

Parents can access School Accountability Report Cards (SARCs) for the district's schools at under the "School Accountability Reports" link. The reports are for the 2007-08 school year, the most recent year available.

Parents can use the reports to check data about local schools, such their test scores, discipline levels and special programs. Parents can also see how local schools compare to others in the county and state.

Each school also has a one-page fact sheet that includes information most requested by parents and the community. Fact sheets are available in English and Spanish.

Print copies of the fact sheets and full SARCs are available upon request at individual school offices or through the Hart District office at (661) 259-0033, ext. 227.
