Santa Clarita Mayor Frank Ferry hosts a special "Mayor Dude" pre-event for VIPs the day before the grand opening of the new Santa Clarita skatepark.

To be eligible to win a VIP pass, visit www.scskatepark.com and fill out the entry form.

Thirty skaters will be selected to be the first to skate the new park at the pregrand opening event March 26 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Submissions close at 5 p.m. Friday, March 20; winners will be contacted by Tuesday, March 24.

The new skatepark opens to the public Friday, March 27 at 3:30 p.m.
