Hart quarterback Brady White (2) named the U.S. Army All-American Bowl High School Player of the Week.

Hart High quarterback Brady White was selected as the U.S. Army All-American Bowl High School Player of the Week on Monday.

Just a junior, White was 38-of-55 for 490 yards and tied a school record with seven touchdown passes in the Indians’ 55-54 overtime victory over Chaminade on Friday at College of the Canyons.

That record was originally set in 1998 by Kyle Boller.

He almost broke the passing yardage record as well, coming 2 yards short of Kyle Matter’s 492 in 1999.

Chaminade was ranked 10th in the state coming into the game by CalHiSports.com.

In two incredible performances, White is 73-of-101 for 961 yards and 10 touchdown passes in two Indian victories.

The U.S. Army All-American Bowl High School Player of the Week recognizes the nation’s top high school performance of the week.

The U.S. Army All-American Bowl is played annually at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas and features some of the nation’s top seniors.
