SANTA CLARITA - Several universities and colleges will be represented Thursday as the Hart district holds its second annual Hispanic College and Career Fair.

The event at the Golden Valley High School theater is open to all William S. Hart Union High School District students but will particularly “highlight a group of people and their achievements,” said a spokeswoman organizing the event.

The college and career fair opens at 5 p.m. with a “walk-around,” providing opportunities for students to meet representatives from UC Davis, Cal State Northridge, DeVry University, College of the Canyons, the California Highway Patrol and other agencies.

Presentations on graduation and postsecondary options will run from 6:30-7:15 p.m., and a question-and-answer session is slated for 7:15-8 p.m.
