Standing with Time-Warner against CBS greed

As Time Warner’s blackout of CBS stations continues, it is time for the public to take sides.

If Time Warner is forced to cave into CBS’ demands, it will mean not only an increase in cable rates, but the fees charged by satellite services not only for CBS, but for all the other "over the air" stations.

This is only the beginning. CBS, which enjoyed twice the increase in earnings compared to Time Warner last year, should be grateful to have its programming extended to cable customers.

After all, the more viewers reached by CBS, the more it can charge for commercials.

Instead, corporate greed kicks in at our expense.

Yes, I miss some of the CBS programs, but I am willing to do without for as long as it takes rather than pay more for the rest of my life.
