No Medicaid for millionaires

The more I learn about the president's fast-tracked economic stimulus plan, the more outraged I become.

At more than $1.1 trillion, this so-called stimulus bill is simply a long wish list of big government spending that won't work. It simply does not create jobs and certainly won't stimulate the economy and will do more harm than good.

Even the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office notes that the bill reduces GDP over the long term.

One of the most egregious provisions in the 1,000-plus-page bill is a section that expands Medicaid coverage to every single person eligible for unemployment with no income limitations.

So every laid off CEO on Wall Street can claim taxpayer-funded health insurance? Sounds like Medicaid for millionaires to me.

Taxpayers need to voice their opposition loudly to this plan.
