So the L.A. County sheriff wants to close Pitchess Detention Center and let out 3,800 prisoners ("Baca threatens to close jails," The Signal, Feb. 25).

I guess they won't be out too long, just long enough to commit another crime so they can return to Club Fed - I mean, Club Med.

If the inmates of California win their lawsuit, which includes new beds, yoga rooms, regulation basketball courts, electronic bingo boards, bleachers and landscaped courtyards for reflection and mediation, why would they ever want to stay on the outside? Sounds like a great place to live to me.
