Organizers of a drug symposium planned for Tuesday said the event is put off indefinitely because not all presenters were able to attend.

Cary Quashen, founder of Action Family Counseling, said the presentation could not be held Tuesday because the key speaker, a Drug Enforcement Administration agent, could not attend.

A spokeswoman for the group, Jeri Seratti-Goldman, said no new date for the event had been scheduled.

Quashen said he called the symposium to warn Santa Clarita Valley parents that Mexican drug cartels are marketing their drugs to local young people.
