Landscaping company, Stay Green Inc. of Santa Clarita, received first-place awards from the non-profit trade association — California Landscape Contractors Association.

Honored by the San Fernando Valley chapter’s 54th annual Landscape Beautification Awards, the 43-year old company was awarded first-place for Large Homeowners Association Maintenance for the Sienna Hills community in Valencia, Public Works Maintenance for the City of Santa Clarita near the Valencia Northpark neighborhood, Large Commercial Maintenance for the River Oaks Shopping Center at McBean Parkway and Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia and Small HOA Maintenance for the Treana HOA in the Santa Clarita Valley’s Stevenson Ranch community.

“We really find reward enough in doing high-quality, sustainable and cost-effective work,” said Chris Angelo, Stay Green’s president and CEO.

Stay Green also received Outstanding Achievement plaques for work in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.

In L.A. County, Stay Green received awards for Large HOA Maintenance for Santa Clarita’s Bridgeport HOA, the 211 Spalding condominiums in Beverly Hills, Medium Commercial Maintenance for Starz Plaza at 2950 Hollywood Way in Burbank, and Small Commercial Maintenance for Santa Clarita Medical Plaza in Valencia.

In Ventura County, the local landscaping company received a plaque for Small HOA Maintenance work for the Harbor Walk HOA in Oxnard between Channel Island Harbor and Hollywood Beach.

Being recognized by the CLCA is recognition that Stay Green is a leader in sustainable landscape solutions throughout Southern California, Angelo said.

“Everyone at Stay Green is very proud of these awards and thankful for the recognition,” Angelo said.
