Four people were handcuffed and taken into custody Wednesday when Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s deputies recovered a stolen truck in Saugus, a sheriff’s spokesman said.

Shortly before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, heavily armed members of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Crime Impact Team tracked a blue 2003 Dodge pickup truck to a parking lot at the corner of Bouquet Canyon Road and Seco Canyon Road, Deputy Josh Dubin said.

Two men and two women were detained, handcuffed and placed in the back of separate sheriff’s cruisers in the parking lot shared by the Anti-Aging Medical Dental Center and the Spudnuts Donuts store.

“It’s a stolen truck,” said one of the team members. “We have four people detained; at least three of them are going to jail.”

Names and the number of those arrested were not available late Wednesday afternoon.
