SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Sheriff's officials say staff at a summer camp near Yosemite National Park was having breakfast outdoors when the tree that killed a counselor and injured four others came down.

Tuolumne County Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. James Oliver says he didn't know whether 21-year-old Annais Rittenberg was seated in the area, but other staff members were having their breakfast there.

Rittenberg died when the tree came down at Camp Tawonga on Wednesday morning. Two of the other injured adults were treated and released. A third, Lizzie Moore, was in good condition at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

Oliver says sheriff's officials don't plan any further investigation into what caused the tree to fall. It showed no obvious signs of rotting or disease, and weather did not appear to be a factor.
